My GOD!!! What beauty and what a unique instance you have captured Kevin. I know how hard and how often you worked to get this shot.

I would like a signed print of this please for my personal gallery of at least 18" but of whatever size you feel does it the most justice. Please let me know when I may stop by and pick it up to take to my framer!

This is even better than what I hoped you would get!

God does grant you much beauty to record, daily!!!

Thanks for sharing Kevin!

Wow, Kevin -- what timing, that you spotted that pair!

Growing up in Delaware, I never saw an eagle in our state. But those birds are lucky, that Rachel Carson's book "Silent Spring" spurred the banning of the pesticide DDT, in the early '70s. And the Feds passed the Endangered Species Act in the same era. What a thrill now, to see our national symbol soaring above us, right here at home.

From the looks of that tree in your photo, it's a tulip poplar, the tallest hardwood in the North American forest. It's a soaring perch from which the feathered pair can easily survey their domain.

Kevin, your wildlife pics capture the glory around us; thanks again.
