A flock of black ducks (with a mallard / black duck cross in the foreground) explode out of a pothole this morning in Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge.

    Kevin: Great shots! In the upper photo, at least a few of them look like Mallard/Black Duck hybrids. One has white bordering the bluish speculum on the wing and another has a small swath of greenish on the head.
