jigsaw puzzle

Someone asked, “Why do you photograph so many snow geese?” The simple answer is because they are here now. In two months, they will all migrate back to Canada’s tundra. Only about five of these snow goose photographs will make the final edit for my new book Wild Delaware.

Wow! Rarely are there shots of so many snow geese in flight where each is so vividly portrayed…

A jigsaw, yes, or maybe a tesselation by Escher!

I, for one, love all the photos you do of these snow geese. Many is the time I’ve been out running errands and seen them in flight or landing or covering a field, and I berated myself for not having a camera with me. Thankfully, I get to re-experience the magnificent sight of them through your camera lense and the postings you do here. I will anxiously await your book so I can have your beautiful Wild Delaware photos of snow geese and SO much else to keep in my home and look at whenever I choose.

This reminds me of an MC Escher sketch.
