Easter is early this year and this eastern cottontail was an early riser catching the morning light its ears. A herbivore, this rabbit eats a wide veriety of plants including clover and grasses leaving eggs and plastic grass to a different kind of bunny.

Great pic with the sun coming through those ears! How can you get so close and not spook these creatures?
