love birds
Well, you don’t see this every day. This same pair of Osprey raised a family last summer in Lewes and have just returned from a six month trip to South America to raise another brood. Romance was in the air this afternoon as the pair mated and brought phragmites to line their nest.

Kevin,
My other half and I are at a hotel computer in Phoenix, and have just shared your site with the manager here. There’s been some exclaiming going on, at the images you’ve captured!
We are grateful for your diligent work: dressing in your “artificial bush” camouflage outfit before dawn, hauling heavy lenses, then documenting the daily routines of the many beautiful Delaware critters.

Thanks Beth for spreading the word about Wild Delaware! It may be difficult to get up before sunrise and head out into the cold but it is almost always worth it. And wearing camo every day is a special treat too.
